Halilcan Sap is a PhD candidate at the Australian Catholic University, Melbourne. He was previously an instructor at the National Defence University, Department of Foreign Languages, Istanbul. With a background in American Studies, his further academic interests include trauma studies, 19th century history, spatiality, and Slavistics.
